Description

Abigail, or 'Abby' as she likes to be called, had a beaming smile on her face as she stepped onto the campus Shepherd University. It was a prestigious school, known for its excellence and exceeding alumni in the liberal arts, the philosophy being, 'Among the herd are bred great leaders'. While the classes they offer provide a variety of classes ranging from business to agricultural, statistics have shown that nearly all graduating students head into the direction of the textile industry. But the statistics didn't matter to Abby; she wanted to study here in hopes of learning how to run and manage businesses in any field. Walking past the wide, luscious lawn, she spotted the university sign, reading it as, 'Sheepherd Univeristy' Shrugging at it, she thought it was just a typo as she continued walking further to the university building. There was a statue at the front, depicting a figure proudly leading a group behind him, a plaque in the front describing the beliefs the school has, 'Leading the lost lambs of society towards a better future' 'That's gonna be me one day. A strong, dependable leader that everyone will look up to!' Abby thought to herself as she went inside the doors. Many freshman like Abby miss it the first time, but if they looked again, they would notice the people depicted in the statue have something puffy pushing against their clothes, spilling out of them and onto their arms and legs, even their faces and ears appearing longer than they should.

Regardless, Abby went through the front doors and inside the building, revealing a bright, clean interior of marble tiles covering the floors and warm colored wooden paneling stretching across the walls and ceiling. Looking up, Abby saw a ceiling mural of beautifully detailed sheep roaming the fields, some of them even looking human-like. She stood in awe, her jaw becoming slack as she slowly started to mumbling something more akin to a bleat before readjusting herself and walking up to the front desk. The front desk woman looked up, smiling at Abby as she finished up typing up another student's information into the system. Abby had an awkward pause, seeing the woman had very dark skin and white puffy hair. Before she could see any other details, the woman, her name tag read as 'Sue' brought her back to focus. "Hello and welcome to Sheepherd University! I assume you are a freshman?" she asked politely, Abby not noticing her floppy ears flick slightly. "Uh, yes! My name is Abigail, and I'm really excited to be at this amazing school!" Sue smiled at her enthusiasm and reached out to shake her hand. "Well it's very nice to see someone so energetic and thoughtful! Great attributes for a real leader!" Abby blushed at the comment as she shook her hand, a warm feeling washing over her as she held onto Sue's thick hands, which she would have questioned if she had not been distracted by her comment and the papers she gave her after withdrawing her 'hand' "Here's your schedule for today. You'll want to head down the hallway behind me and go down a few halls as listed on your schedule. Classes start soon, so don't be late! And haaave a wonderful day here at Sheepherd U!"

Excited about her first class for the day, she went down the hallway leaving several questions unasked, absent-mindedly walking down any turn before realizing she had gotten lost. Looking at her schedule, there was a map drawn of the building, but it was getting harder for her to comprehend it, only being able to make out certain colors and arrows corresponding to each hall. As she wandered, she passed by many other rooms, failing to notice the signs labeled 'Shearing Room' or 'How to Herd', with students inside with softer and wooly complexions. Turning the corner, she came across another student who appeared to be lost as well. Filled with hope, Abby approached the girl who was also trying to make sense out of her schedule. "Excuse me! I'm Abby, and I was wondering if you knew where..." She paused for a moment to look at her schedule. "Room 1 for the first period... wait, are you lost, too?" The girl gave a sheepish look as she shook her head. "Sorry, but I am... and my name's Kimma." Abby sighed, looking at her schedule and trying harder to make out what the simple directions meant. "It's okay I'll just have to figure it out on my own..." "Waaait!" the girl exclaimed, her calling drawn out a bit more. "I was thinking... maybe I could... follow you?" Abby thought about it for a bit before smiling back, naturally letting out a bleat of her own. "Sure thing Kimmaaaa!" They continued down the halls, Abby managing to figure out that the arrows might mean something about directions as her complex thinking slowed the more they went on. As the two walked, they failed to notice their skin darkening and ears lengthening out, becoming slightly floppy.

Suddenly, they heard several female bleats coming from behind them looking to see three other girls following them, all of them having gone through similar changes. "H-hello... my name is Katie" said one of the girls, introducing herself with a sheepish smile, pointing to her companions. "The one in glasses is Brittney and the other is Kelsey. We were just following you two because we were lost. The pink one is the leader, right?" Katie pointed at Abby, a sense of pride welling a bit inside her as she called her a leader. The word clicked in her head as she started to think a little more. "Well, yes! I think might know where we should go. These arrows mean something, maybe to point to where we need to go!" The other girls looked at Abby as if she solved a great mystery that no one else could figure out. "Wow! Our leader is so smart!" "Aaaabby is the best!" Feeling more confident, Abby held the schedule with pride as she lead them on through the halls. All the while, their faces seemed to broaden more and push out slightly, the clothes they wear feeling hotter and stuffier as wool begins to push from under the cloth.

Eventually, they came to a crossroad where Abby saw a familiar face leading another group of sheepish girls. "Bree!" "Aaaabby!" The two girls ran to each other, embracing in a hug, their bodies squished against each other due to the soft cushiony feeling of wool beneath their clothes. "We were heading to room 2 when we got lost, but I figured out the arrows mean something!" Abby jumped in delight with her, hearing the same conclusion she came to. "I did, too! We are going to room 1, though so I hope you find yours!" The two groups then passed each other, bleating to each other as they parted ways. After a few more turns, they finally came to a room labeled 'Room 1' and underneath it, "Sheeple 101' "This must be our class everybody!" Abby announced, forgetting the fact that the girls had blindly followed her and that she never confirmed whether the other girls were also looking for room 1. Reaching out to the door, she fails to realize that her hands had become cloven hooves, but is still able to grab and turn the doorknob. The girls walk in one by one, each growing a short, wooly tail ripping through their pants as they walk through the door.

The class is filled with sheep girls already sitting in their desks, blankly staring forward, save for a few in the front. The professor stood at the front, her appearance in full sheep form, completed with a longer snout and cloven hooves for feet. What was different about her though was that she possessed a pair of thick, curled horns on her head, representing her authority and masculinity. Looking at the group, she gave a stern bleat, the group immediately responding by quickly taking their seats, Abby sitting in the front with a few others. Satisfied with the order, the professor began class. "Sheeple! It's who we are and what we do. We follow the crowd, make sure we are just like the rest of the herd and following without thought. If you are a sheep, you must respond like sheep, correct?" "Yes ma'aaaam!" was the response the sheep girls behind the front bleated. Content, the professor continued, "But some of you are made to lead the flock! To be strong powerful raaaams like myself!" Abby and the few in the front became focused on that part. 'This is why I came here, right? To become a great herd leader for my flock!' Abby thought to herself. The class continued with the introduction of Sheeple, the philosophy of it and how to speak it. The lessons taught soon engraved into the class' mind, the majority of them having their minds reduced to simple sheepish thoughts, dependent on a leader, while Abby and the others were just as sheepish, but a little more independent for simple decision making. In addition, they had the beginnings of their horns growing from their heads, pushing through their hair.

By the time the lecture was over, a loud bleat rang over the intercom to indicate lunchtime. "Now remember, simple thoughts only for sheep and always follow your raaaam leader!" Everyone got up from their desks, each sheep girl meeting in their flocks to follow their respective ram leader. As they exited the classroom, Abby noticed the hall now had arrows pointing with the color green and decided to follow the directions, her little flock following her. The arrows soon lead them out to the back of the campus building, revealing lush rolling hills with tall, soft grass covering them. Many of the sheepish students had already converged there, individual flocks on their front hooves and knees grazing on the grass. Driven by her newfound instincts, Abby also got on her hooves and knees, pulling out grass from the ground and slowly chewing on them, the flock following suite. While grazing, the flock failed to notice their faces pushing out into longer muzzles and their wool spilling from their clothing to, pushing out of their darkened skin to cover up their arms and legs.

After having their fill, Abby led her flock of friends to their next classes, to which they had no objections to, only thinking about following their ram. The rest of the day covered subjects such as the proper pose to keep when one is being sheared, the correct method of chewing their cud after feeding throughout the day, the history of sheep girls and their contribution to society, the study of efficient herding patterns, and much more to solidify their mentality of being simple sheeple. At the end of the day, Abby led them to their dorm room, which happened to be an indoor pen for them to share. Abby walked her flock over to the large bed, lying down first while her friends curled up around her one by one. "Abby is good leader for us!" "Abby best raaam for flock!" As they complimented her, nuzzling their muzzles all over her, Abby simple laid back, happily chewing the rest of her cud and nuzzling her flock back, wrapping her wooly arms around them protectively and possessively. "Yes, I am your flock leader, your strong raaam, and I will lead my flock of lost laaambs to a better future..." She bleated to them as they drifted off to sleep, her final changes occurring under her clothes and wool, truly making her, now him, the ram of his flock.
