Description

It had been a couple weeks since Sam has accidentally changed her best friends into colorful Poodles. Sam's mother, Janet, had to use all of her magical energy to change Kimma and Amber, although there was a day of two of side effects.

Janet had been furious that Sam explicitly ignored her warnings. She had gone to great lengths to hide her magical talents. And she had to go to greater lengths to make Sam forget that she turned her friends into poodles.

But now was the time for punishment. And not just for the Poodle incident. Sam had been a high and might child for a while, concerned about being popular and always looking good, and it caused quite a bit of tension. It was time to take her daughter down a peg, and Janet was going to have some fun doing it.

Sam was a heavy sleeper, so Janet had no problem setting up a perfectly magical breakfast that would begin Sam's changes. She decided since her friends had to live the life of a dog for a bit, so would Sam.

Janet had just finished putting the breakfast together when Sam finally entered the room. She looked at the breakfast and then back to her mom.

"Mom, are you mad at me for anything? You usually only make breakfast when you're mad." Sam said.

"No, of course not. Why would I be mad?" Janet said.

"Well, alright. Whatever." Sam said, not even thanking her.

Janet watched as Sam dug into her special breakfast. As she went through the eggs and bacon, Janet could feel the magical energy surging through the room. It was working. The change was about to begin.

"Well, I gotta admit, that was pretty good." Sam said, as she got up. "Mom, mind letting me out so I can use the bathroom?"

Janet was slightly taken aback at the statement, but knew she had to play it cool.

"Sure, sweetie." Janet said. She opened up the back door, and Sam headed out to the backyard.

Janet watched as Sam sniffed around for a good place to go, and smiled as she watched her nose turn big and black. Finally, Sam squatted and did what she needed to do. She rushed back inside, with Janet getting an upclose look at her nose.

"Well, I needed that." Sam said, oblivious to her changes.

Janet went about her usual morning of cleaning up after Sam, although this time, it was both outside and in. After she was done, she approached Sam, looking pretty human other than her black nose.

"Hey, you wanna go do some shopping with me today?" Janet asked Sam, who was browsing the computer.

"Sure, why not?" Sam said.

Soon, Janet was in the car with Sam in the passengers seat. Sam looked out the window, and decided to roll it down. Soon, she stuck her head out it, her tongue hanging out, the wind blowing her hair back.

"Well, here we are!" Janet said, as the pulled into the parking lot of a PetSmart. Sam didn't seem to find this strange, as she simply panted, her tongue seemingly out of her mouth permanently.

Janet and Sam went through the PetSmart as Janet picked up Dog Food, Leashes, Collars, and various other items she would need. Sam just took in the smell of the store, panted, and growled at some cats.

Suddenly, Sam spied something out of the corner of her eye. It was a dog bone. She couldn't get her eyes off of it for whatever reason. She decided to pick it up with her mouth, and rushed it back to Janet, dropping it in the cart.

Janet laughed. "You want the bone, Sam?"

"Yeah!" Sam said.

"OK, we can get it." Janet said.

Soon, they completed their shopping and headed to the counter.

"Wow. She's quite lovely." The cashier said.

"Yes, she is." Janet laughed again.

"What's her name?"

"Sam."

"You're a good girl, aren't you Sam?"

"Yeah! I'm a good girl!" Sam said.

"That'll be $104. Have a nice day." The Cashier said, and Janet and Sma were on their way.

The car ride home was pretty much the same as the first, with Sam's head out the window. Soon they were back home.

"Mom, can I have my bone now?"

"Sure, sweetie." Janet said, as she gave Sam the bone.

Sam went to the living room, lied down and chewed on her bone, while Janet put away all the dog supplies. This was going smoothly. Even the outside world saw her as a dog!

They rest of the day went pretty well. Sam's tongue lengthed a bit, and she yelled at a squirrel outside the front door. Sam still ate her lunch and dinner like a human would, but took some time to sniff the food first. And her arms and legs gained some slight fur, but nothing too noticable.

Finally, near the end of the night, Janet made a suggestion.

"How about we watch a movie?" Janet said.

"OK. What movie?" Sam said. She was already much better than she was this morning, personality wise.

"Well... how about Lady and the Tramp?" Janet said. She had considered Beethoven, but thought it would be too on the nose.

Soon enough, Janet was sitting on the couch, with Sam by her side, panting, as they watch the two dogs fall in love.

Janet decided to begin petting Sam, and Sam didn't object a bit. In fact, she loved the feeling. Janet took some time to scratch behind the ears, which quickly became brown and floppy.

As soon as the movie ended, Sam yawned, her tongue growing to its final length as it stretched out.

"Goodnight, mom." Sam said.

"Goodnight, Sweetie." Janet said.

Janet smiled as Sam left the room. A very successful first day.

The next morning, Sam awoke, still unaware of the the changes that had swept over her. Her tongue continued to hang out of her mouth as she got dressed and headed to the kitchen.

Janet had decided to see how much she could push the transformation. Instead of eggs and bacon, this morning she had prepared a nice bowl of dog food and some water at the table. She was very curious to see if her changing daughter would take to the food.

Sam walked into the kitchen, her panting getting faster as the smell of the food hit her nose. Janet looked excitedly as Sam got to the table and sat down. Although she didn't eat it face first just yet, she excitedly took a spoon and quickly ate the dog food with gusto. She even used her long tongue to lap up the water.

Suddenly, to Janet's surprise, the doorbell rang.

"Door! Someone's at the door! Door!" Sam said, in an almost barking tone, as she ran to the door Her face pushed out a bit, as the beginning of her St. Bernard Jowls were coming in.

"Now who could that be?" Janet said, as she went to the door.

"Door! Who's at the Door! Door!" Sam said, as Janet opened it.

It was Amber!

"Hi, Mrs. Michaels." Amber said. "I'm here to hang out with Sam, like I do every Saturday."

Of course! Amber and Sam hung out as humans every Saturday, usually gossiping and making fun of people behind their backs. But she didn't expect it to continue with all these changes happening.

"Of course. Come on in." Janet said.

Amber looked over to Sam.

"Hi Amber! Hi Amber!" Sam barked out.

"Hi Sam! Hi Sam!" Amber suddenly said, before cautiously sniffing at Sam.

Janet watched in awe as Amber's nose turned back to being a black dog nose, as she gave Sam the traditional dog greeting of sniffing her behind. Janet laughed. This would be fun.

"You girls want to play fetch?" Janet asked.

"Fetch? Yeah! Get the ball! Get the ball!" Sam said, as brown and white fur grew on her arms.

"Sounds like fun! Great fun!" Amber said, as her ears returned to their floppy poodle ways.

During the game of fetch, during wicth Sam and Amber energetically ran after the tennis ball, Janet considered the scene. She had been so angry that Sam had changed her friends into dogs. But now she saw how happy Sam and Amber were. They deserved to be dogs! In fact, all of Sam's friends deserve to be dogs. It was a much happier life!

Soon, the dog girls switched to a nice game of tug and war. Sam's face was growing fur now too, and she was looking less human and more St Bernard like by the second. And Amber wagged her poodle tail as she lost the game, her muzzle finishing growing out.

"Woof! That was fun, Sam! Woof! But I think my owner is expecting me home soon! Woof!" Amber said after she lost the last tug of war, panting. She was nearly back to her full poodle form. And this time, Janet decided, she would stay that way.

"Awww." Sam wined.

"I'm sure we'll get together soon, Amber." Janet said. "Goodbye."

"Woof! Bye!" Amber said, as she ran off.

"I like playing with Amber." Sam said, a small tail beginning to grow out of her.

"I know, but she had to go home. And beisdes, it's time for our walk!" Janet said.

Suddenly, Sam's mood was excited!

"Walk! Walk! We're going for a Walk!" Sam barked out.

Sam started rushing to the door, but Janet called out to her.

"Hold on Sam! Stay!" Janet said.

Sam stopped by the door and obeyed, staying in place, panting contently.

"We don't want you running away during the walk! Let me get your collar and leash on!" Janet said, as she did indeed attach the collar and leash she bought yesterday.

And soon, the two of them were on their way. Sam lead, sniffing at every tree and tugging at the leash as Janet held tightly. The same brown and white fur that covered her arms was spreading to her legs.

"Someone coming! Someone coming!" Sam suddenly shouted. Janet looked to see another one of Sam's friends, Leah, jogging down the street. Janet smiled. This was another chance to introduce happiness to Sam's friends.

"Aww, what a lovely dog!" Leah said, as she petted Sam. Sam just panted, her tail growing a bit more, as she enjoyed the feeling.

"Yes, she is a lovely dog, isn't she." Janet said.

"She's a St Bernard, right?" Leah asked.

Janet smiled. She could see Sam sniffing around. This would be her chance.

"Yeah! That's right." Janet said.

"They're really big dogs." Leah said. Suddenly, she felt Sam sniffing behind her.

"Hey, no!" Leah said, playfully.

"She just likes you." Janet said, laughing that another happy dog would be joining the neighborhood.

"I'm sure she does. Well, anyways, I got to get going. Thanks for letting be pet your dog." Leah said.

"Come by anytime. Sam would love to see you again." Janet said.

Leah was confused at that, but nodded none the less. As she ran off, a large collie tail began to wag behind her.

Satisfied, Janet and Sam continued on their walk, making their way to the local park. Janet let go the leash and let Sam run around as she wished. Sam's face finished pushing out, and she look very much like a St. Bernard with human hair and no tail.

But Sam didn't take any notice of this. She felt as free as the wind, and ran around the park. Suddenly, a smell hit her nose.

"Squirrel Squirrel!" Sam said, as she chased a squirrel across the park. As she ran the squirrel up a tree, her tail suddenly exploded out of her, wagging a million miles a minute.

Janet laughed. "Sam! Get back here."

Hearing Janet's voice, Sam walked back, panting as hard as ever. Janet and Sam played for a little long, including another round of fetch, before Janet decided to head home. She attached the leash back to Sam and started to make their way back.

But on the way out of the park, they ran into Sam's Friend Sophia, and her Border Collie puppy, Mary.

"Sophia! Sophia!" Sam said, as she ran towards her friend. Janet let go of the leash, knowing what it would lead to.

Sam indeed got to Sophia and sniffed her behind.

"Hey, what..." Sophia started to yell, before she suddenly had a change in mind. She instead decided to return the favor, as her nose turned black in the process.

Sophia and Sam then sniffed around Mary, as Janet appeared.

"It was nice running into you, Sophia. We'll have to plan a playdate with Sam." Janet said.

"Yeah, totally! I'll bring Mary along too!" Sophia said, as black and white fur grew around her face.

"Well, we must be going. See you next time!" Janet said, and left Sophia and Mary to play and change.

The rest of the day was pretty enjoyable for Janet and her currently anthro St. Bernard Sam. The lounged around the house for a bit. When it was time for dinner, Sam didn't even use utensils. She still sat at the table, but dug face first into her dog food.

And soon it was time for bed. But instead of heading to her own room, Sam curled up on her stomach near the foot of Janet's bed.

"Goodnight! Goodnight!" Sam barked

"Goodnight." Janet said. Tomorrow, everything would finalize. And she couldn't be happier.

Sam awoke the very next morning to the smell of dog food hitting her big black nose. Her mouth drooled a bit, as hunger hit her stomach. She slowly made her way to two legs. It felt... wrong. But nonetheless she persisted and walked to the kitchen. Overnight, her body added some mass, giving her the stocky build of a St. Bernard.

She walked to the kitchen, where again Janet had prepared a nice bowl of dog food for Sam. But this time, the bowl was on the ground.

"Breakfast is served!" Janet said.

Sam didn't hesitate and finally gave in to her body's new instinct, falling onto all fours and chomping away at her feast. Her body began to shorten the legs and arms, preparing for a life on four legs, although her hands and feet were had fingers and toes for the moment.

As soon as Sam finished, there was a ringing of a doorbell.

"DOOR! DOOR! WOOF! DOOR! WOOF!" Sam yelped, with actually barks escaping for the first time, as she rushed to the door on all fours.

"Another day, another guest, another happy dog waiting to be made." Janet said as she went to answer.

At the door today was Sam's friend Abby.

"Hey Mrs. Michaels. Is Sam around? I haven't gotten any texts or snapchats from her in, like, a couple days." Abby said.

"Sam is a bit... busy at the moment. But I'll let her know you came by. Say, why don't you come in and I'll get you a drink." Janet said.

"Sure! Say, this is a really cute dog right here. I didn't know you guys got a dog." Abby said, as she scratched Sam's ears.

"She's a new addition to the family. It seems there are a lot of new dogs popping up around the neighborhood." Janet chuckled to herself.

"Yeah, well, I might want to get one too soon." Abby said, as she sat down.

Janet frowned. Abby had taken a seat before Sam had gotten an opportunity to work her magic. Oh well. Janet was sure it would happen soon enough.

Janet brought a glass of water to Abby, and discussed school and life for a bit as Sam laid next to Abby, being pets her fingers began to slightly shrink.

"Well, thank you very much for the company, but I must be going." Abby said, as she got up. As soon as she did, Sam sniffed behind, and the magic was started.

"I'm sorry, but that water went right through me. Do you mind letting me out so I can use the bathroom?" Abby asked.

"Sure thing. This way." Janet said, as she led Abby to the backyard. Abby did what she needed to do. She shook her head as Floppy Black and White ears grew, and Janet watched as Black spots appeard on her face.

"Thanks, Mrs. Michaels. I'll see you later." Abby said.

"No problem, Abby. Come back soon. I'm sure Sam can't wait to see you." Janet said, as she scratched Abby's new ears.

Abby began to pant at the feeling of her ears getting scratched, and left.

Janet turned back to Sam, who was a St Bernard except for the finishing touches needed on her arms and legs.

"Let's see if we can get you finished up, hmm? Why don't we see what a good dog you are! Sit!" Janet said.

Sam obeyed, and sat, her arms and legs getting to their proper lengths.

"Beg!"

Sam obeyed again, as she got into begging position. Her fingers finished shortening into paws, and the same for her feet.

"Good girl! Sit!"

Sam sat again.

"Speak!"

"WOOF! WOOF!" Sam barked.

"Now come! Give you momma kisses." Janet said.

Sam rushed over to Janet and began to lick her face like crazy. With that, the last remnants of her humanness faded. Sam the St. Bernard was all that exisited.

"OK! OK! Down, Sam! Down!" Janet laughed. Sam obeyed and returned to sitting position.

"You're such a good dog, aren't you? Much better and much happier than that daughter I used to have." Janet smirked.

"WOOF!" Sam replied.

"How about we go for another walk?" Janet said, and one leash attachment later, they were on their way.

Janet was hoping to run into another one of Sam's friends, and she was estacitc to find Sam's neighbor Kelly outside.

"Hey Mrs. M! Cool dog!" Kelly said.

"Yeah, she's a real good girl." Janet said, letting go of the leash to let Sam do her thing.

"You know, I was always jealous of dogs. Always happy. No cares. Seems like a great life!" Kelly said.

"I'm sure you'll find that out very soon." Janet commented.

As soon as she said that, Sam did her sniffing magic. A long tongue fell out of Kelly's mouth as she began to pant. Her ears morphed into ones belonging to a pitbull.

"Good girl, Sam. You're gonna fill this town with a whole lot of good dogs." Janet said, as she petted her precious pet.
